This MVP uses the information you choose to submit through a newsletter, contact form, gift list, waitlist or family profile flow to send the email you asked for or respond to your message. The site stores no profile, account, registry or saved list of its own. Email is the current save mechanism.

Parents own and control what they share. We avoid collecting unnecessary identifying information about children; please use initials or a first name only and do not send sensitive information, medical details or anything a child would reasonably expect to keep private.

Privacy by design keeps four layers separate: identity (your email), child profile (age and interests), behaviour (how the site is used) and commercial context (retailer or affiliate links). Each layer has a different purpose and should not become a child’s public identity.

KidCritic gets smarter the more you use it: recommendations can become more useful through better product rules and aggregate learning, while the MVP still stores no family profile here.
