KidCritic’s aim is to help parents make more considered purchases. We organise information, explain trade-offs and make cautious recommendations. We do not promise that every pick will work for every family.

Products, prices and imagery in this MVP are clearly labelled demo content. As the site grows, we will distinguish editorial testing, retailer information and community feedback.

Affiliate links, advertising and brand partnerships never determine rankings or editorial verdicts. Sponsored content will be labelled clearly and kept separate from independent editorial judgement.

Privacy by design keeps four layers separate: identity (your email), child profile (age and interests), behaviour (how the site is used) and commercial context (retailer or affiliate links). The MVP stores no account or profile here; email is the current save mechanism.

KidCritic gets smarter the more you use it — through better recommendations and clearer editorial patterns, not through a public child profile.
